Why We Changed the Name
The name Ayiti Wobo was full of meaning. "Ayiti" is the original name of Haiti, and "Wobo" means robot in Haitian Creole. It showed our love for our country and our passion for robotics.
But as we started working with more people from other countries, we needed a name that reflects our bigger mission. AiTWobo now stands for:
AI = Artificial Intelligence
IT = Information Technology
Wobo = Robot
It’s still pronounced “AIT-Wo-bo”, and it still keeps part of our original name. But now, it shows that we work with both robots and smart technology.
Our New Logo
We are also happy to introduce our new AiTWobo logo. It looks modern and full of energy. The design shows that we are serious about innovation and moving forward. This logo represents our goals: to inspire, to teach, and to build amazing things in the world of robotics and technology.
Our New Slogan
We now have a new slogan that shares our mission with the world:
“Let’s actively participate in the innovation of tomorrow.”
This means we want young people, students, teachers, and leaders to work together and help build the future. We don’t just want to watch the world change, we want to help make that change.
What’s Next for AiTWobo
We are not just changing our name. We are also working on bigger projects, better tools, and stronger international partnerships. We will continue teaching robotics, holding competitions, and encouraging young people to become future leaders in technology.
Join the Movement
AiTWobo is more than a name. It’s a global movement. We welcome everyone who wants to be part of the future, whether you are from Haiti or anywhere else in the world.
Let’s learn together. Let’s build together.
Let’s actively participate in the innovation of tomorrow.
