Course Content

Week 1: Introduction to Electronics and Circuits
Members will understand basic concepts like voltage, current, and resistance. They will be able to build simple circuits using a breadboard. Members will learn to use basic tools like a multimeter for measuring electrical properties.

  • Lesson 5
    00:00
  • Lab report 5

Week 2: Basic Components: Resistors, Capacitors, Transistors
Members will be able to understand the role of resistors in limiting current, capacitors in storing energy, and transistors in switching and amplification. They will gain practical skills in building circuits using these components. This foundation will prepare them for more complex electronics and robotics projects.

Week 3: Using a Breadboard for Prototyping
Members will be proficient in using a breadboard to design and prototype circuits. They will understand the process of building, testing, and iterating on simple circuits. This experience will enhance their problem-solving and circuit design skills, which are critical for robotics development.

Week 4: Project: Create Simple Circuits (LED Blink, Buzzer Sound)
Members will gain practical experience in creating simple timing and sound circuits. They will enhance their understanding of the 555 timer and its applications in robotics. This project will improve their skills in circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting, preparing them for more complex robotics projects.
